Not a WPKG-specific question, but I'll try to answer - sure (assuming 
you meant a Samba server). I use this:

FSG-3, has a 266 MHz ARM CPU and 64 MB of RAM. I guess your PIII is much 
more powerful than that.

Of course, the question remains: how many concurrent installations do 
you want to handle? In other words, how many workstations will fetch the 
files from the server at the same time?
The maximum for the above box is 4-5, anything above, and things are 
getting very slow.
