Hello, as to my experience, ADS is deploying silently by default. There are some options available, but they have always been grayed out for me and I have not seen any text box allowing for parameter input in any of the dialogs.

There are apps which will let you work with these (Orca and InstEd both spring to mind) but there is no way to directly enter command line switches in AD.
