Hi, I just noticed the latest Windows Updates include http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2632503 which corrects an issue in JScript itself. i.e. processing large loops can cause "undefined" values to be returned. It's listed as a problem with garbage collection so I'd personally expect it to crop up for any code that's "memory intensive" too. That thought struck a bell...
I remember Rainer (and others) mentioning some buggy-ness (a long time ago!) when you have large numbers of packages in your WPKG setup. I've also seen WPKG struggling with unanticipated "undefined" values at various points in my rather deeply nested setup too. Michael MacKay also noticed that turning on the debug switch caused WPKG to run normally but without that switch some packages failed to uninstall. I'm wondering if this might be the culprit. Anyway, I thought it worth mentioning :-) Have fun folks, Keith ___________________________________________________________ This email has been scanned by MessageLabs' Email Security System on behalf of the University of Brighton.
