Here’s my second attempt at the Chess 2 MIDI idea.

This time, each chess piece is given a specific duration (in sixteenth 
notes):
P 1
R 2
N 3
B 4
Q 5
K 6
In addition, every time a piece is taken off the board, the pitch for 
that move is given an accent. Other than that, this is a straight 
transcription.
