Greetings List members,

A colleague of mine keeps referring to wsftp as winsock ftp.

I always believed wsftp (which we have been writing as ws_ftp in our
local documentation) was the name of the program--named because it was
written to utilize windows sockets.

The most I could concede to is that wsftp is a winsock based ftp client.

Sorry if this is a waste of time but, I felt it was important since he
instructs people in using wsftp.

Any thoughts, facts on this?
