Tom, I might be kind of late on this but...
The problem you are describing doesn't appear to a be in the command channel (PORT specified in client and server) I say this because you are able to logon successfully. and the authentication of the username, etc occurs over the command channel. >From what you are describing there is a problem with the data channel that is being used (non-configurable). Look in the client log to see what PORT it is connecting the data channel to and then see what the firewall, etc. is set for this port Thanks, J ----- Original Message ----- From: Looops <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, December 17, 2001 8:51 AM Subject: Re: [WS_FTP Forum] WS FTP Server 2.x > As with most FTP servers, WS_FTP Server needs to have to ports available to > use. > Port 21 is configurable and your client canuse Port 69 instead, however, > Port 20 is not configurable and has to be open to FTP. > > Loops > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Tom Forsberg" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Monday, December 17, 2001 12:18 AM > Subject: Re: [WS_FTP Forum] WS FTP Server 2.x > > > > Ok..
