I have WS_FTP Pro 7.0 and there is something called "Synchronize" under
"Tools". One of the fields is "Exclude" where you can enter the file types
that you don't want along with what directory they are in. See Help once you
have the menu window open. This may be easier than writing a script since
you are unfamiliar with scripting.

Sorry, I just realized my last reply was for a different FTP product, not
WS_FTP Pro!

Try,
File, Edit, Group Select, then enter your filter criteria.

Subject: [WS_FTP Forum] Scripting

I'm using WS_FTP Pro 6.0. Is there a place to get sample scripts other than
the two that are on the ipswitch web site? I don't know a lot about UNIX or
ftp commands and want to upload my entire site (I had to make one little
global correction) but I don't want to upload all the graphics, cgi programs
etc. I just want it to upload *.html in multiple directories.

Or is there even something in the program itself where I can select all then
filter so it only copies *.html right from the GUI window?

TIA
Sheryl
