Ed,   It appears that the machine you are connecting to isn't configured for sftp.  After the SSH authentication is complete, the application asks the SSH daemon to start the sftp subsystem to process the sftp commands over the SSH connection.  So, ask the administrator to configure the sshd daemon for sftp and you should be good to go.   Ben -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]On Behalf Of Ed Ross Sent: Friday, March 14, 2003 1:16 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [WS_FTP Forum] Connecting to server via SSH Hello,   I am new to this list, but not to WSFTP.  I am trying to connect to a server running freeBSD.  I am using the latest version of WSFTP.
