Of course I will do what you proposed and ask my provider to configure the sshd daemon for sftp. 1) But: I'm practicing FTP to this very same server since about 1996 and always with the freeware version of WS_FTP. Never with any failure. So it escapes me, why now the server is the cause for this mistake. 2) I did in fact upload all necessary webpages to this server with the evaluation version of WS_FTP V7. So, principally, the communication works. The complaint is that WS_FTP Version 7 did upload some webpages which it was not supposed to do (because they haven't changed since the last upload). There are removal instructions at the bottom of the e-mails you are receiving. I suggest trying those first to get yourself removed. Not sure how you got on if you didn't intend to be there -- maybe someone else "did you a favor". -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Ohm, Mike Sent: Monday, March 17, 2003 12:05 PM To: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' Subject: RE: UCE Complaint (UCE Complaint (Re: [WS_FTP Forum] Connecting t o server via SSH)) Why am i receiving this? -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Admin @ IOHOSTING.US Sent: Monday, March 17, 2003 12:20 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: UCE Complaint (UCE Complaint (Re: [WS_FTP Forum] Connecting to server via SSH)) You have sent the attached unsolicited e-mail to my e-mail account.
