Make sure that the SYSTEM account has full rights to the FTP home folders. The service runs as the SYSTEM account, and must have rights to these folders.

No, when I log in, I see the WS FTP message. So, I am definitely getting to the WS FTP server.

Is your server running an other type of FTP that might be answering instead of WS_FTP? Make sure IIS did not install FTP as well as web services.

I can’t create an account that I can log in under at all. I am running WS FTP Server 4.0.1 right now. I create new accounts, and I still can’t log in on anything. I am definitely connecting to the server. Am I missing something? Do I have to create accounts in a special way or activate them? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
