Periodically, my PC just crashes, most often, after opening and closing WSFTP Pro 8.02. One of three things happens:
1. A dialogue box appears that says there is a fault in Explorer. When I click on the details button, the message says the location of the fault is unknown; or
2. The Microsoft blue screen of death appears, indicating that the system is busy and providing this error - Fatal exception OE 0028-DF55294C; or
3. I attempt to click on the Start button to open another program. A box appears that moves with the cursor and nothing else can be done other than to restart the PC.
The problem appeared to be fixed for a short time. I found some information on the WSFTP site about editing the wsftp_options.ini file. Our Help Desk did that and the problem seemed to disappear. They also upgraded the PC memory to 384 MB of RAM. For some reason, the problem came back a few days ago.
I would appreciate any assistance you could provide. Many thanks.
