hi all

before I post away and (possibly) incur the wrath of list mommies and
daddies, I wanted to check if Q's about making javascript x-browser is
kosher on this list (and if not, can anyone recommend one).

we're building a large web app where JS is vital to make it work. Things
like modal "windows", tabbed data entry forms, RPC data exchange with
xmlhttprequest, xml manip within the page, etc.

While it's *suppose* to be only for intranets and IE, I'm trying to make
everything I do work in (at least) firefox (and maybe safari as well).

Trying to run it on NN4, PDA's and mobile devices just won't happen, I'm
afraid. At least I'm trying to open it up to more than IE - especially
since it really doesn't take much more effort to do so. The app won't
see significant release for another 12 months yet, so there's a bit of
time to work out which browsers to target, etc.

so, are these sort of Q's OK here?

thanx
