I've read the posts on Flash and embedding using the Satay method. I
liked the idea of using that instead of using Javascript.
I have been working on using the Flash Satay method to embed a small
Flash clip on the upper right hand corner of a home page. It loads just
fine in FF1 and Opera 7.54. IE6 is taking a day beyond forever to
load. In fact, I went to the page in IE6 and got up to do a few other
things. Five minutes later the flash STILL hasn't loaded. In FF/Opera,
the flash shows immediately. I do have a container movie that is set to
load the flash file, but that doesn't seem to be letting IE load. If
anyone is interested I will cheerfully let that person have a look at
the swi file for the container. The code in the home4.html file doesn't
appear to have any wayward elements in it, that I could see. I must be
missing something, though.
The code validates XHTML 1.0 Transitional.
Any help would be truly, deeply appreciated. Thanks in advance.
