Just to add to what Alan said...
remember to put spaces between images unless their is
> good reason not to otherwise the following:
<img src='hello.png' alt="Hello"/><img src='world.png' alt="World"/> will look like HelloWorld
Perhaps put the space in the alt *attribute* if you get display problems with the space.
Also, if you are going to put captions under the photo, I think it's perfectly reasonable to use an empty alt attribute. Doesn't the caption take its place anyway?
