Bit tongue in cheek, but: isn't that Web 2.0? > And the second one: why do you assume users WANT control? It's about finding the compromise: some users want control, some don't. Some want control but don't know how they can exert that control (e.g. setting their default text sizes, colours, even up to user styles).
