Thanks for your comment, I am beginning to see some light in the tunnel. We 
have been struggling with this issue here at Oracle for several days now. The 
mystery is that both the classes seem to be in any and all types of 
classpaths/shared libraries as possible.
You mention "commons-loggin or log4j " not in the classpath. We do have 
commons-logging in the classpath already. And if that's the case, why isn't it 
telling me the exact root class that it's looking for, it simply says Trc not 
found.
Is there another case like this (bug) similar to this issue with more details.
If you know more about it then please share with us it would help a lot.
