Hi Chuck,

Im re-writing all the macros, as trying to patch them up was not working out well. Additionally, user include paths was not working the way the should if at all in some cases.

(Wspr 4113 on 64 bit Fedora Rawhide)
I added an ls -l command to the Makefile and got:
-rwxr-xr-x 1 caf omen 319573 May 16 19:35 w.cpython-33m.so

Since that is the only .so file it would appear that "w*.so" should work in any case.

Agreed, it should, but I've tested it several ways, and it doesn't work properly in all cases.

Autogen.sh and configure still not checking for f2py3

This is fixed. I still need to add user include paths for non-standard locations or custom builds.

I've also added python3.2+ minimum checks.

Wspr runs and identifies itself as r4103 with last revision in Sep 2010

That's becsue the r4103 comes from the wspr.py file, not from the latest Check-In to the repository.

Hi Richard,

There may be diff's between 32 & 64 with respect to naming as well, I've not test that. Fedora may deal with Python/cython thing differently than the .deb flavours. Personally, Id' prefer they all have the (w.so) output file name, makes life easy then :-)

I tried several iterations of F2PY to no avail. I'm sure there is a way to force the (w.so) conversion, I've just not found it.

Let us know how the builds turn out, will be a good comparison. Also, if there are using / testing against different Python/cython versions. That seems to be the issue on the .deb's flavors.

Well, I just submitted build of wsjtx and wsprx for Fedora 19 & 20, and EPEL 6 and 7. I have no idea if they will all complete but I'll try and fix anything that doesn't.
