Hello All,

For those using JTSDK-PY to build WSJT & WSPR on Windows, I committed
several updates today to fix a number of issues (or potential issues),
mainly to do with generating Win32 Installers. There are a few
enhancements for WSPR / Fmtest / WSPR0 (Command Line WSPR) also. See
below for details of the updates.

If you have issues with the upgrade, any of the builds or find typo's
etc, please post them to the WSJT Dev mailing list:

<wsjt-devel@lists.sourceforge.net>.

UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS:

NOTE: The upgrade requires the SDK's to be installed to their default
locations: C:\JTSDK-QT, C:\JTSDK-PY and C:\JTSDK-DOC. If they are
not found, the installer-script "should" skip the update for that
particular SDK.

Open, C:\jtsdk-doc\jtsdk-docenv.bat
Type, svn update
Type, update
Close the JTSDK-DOC Window

SVN Update Note:
- You should update both WSJT and WSPR from SVN to get the latest
Makefile and Installer configurations before building the packages, or,
when asked by the build script if you want to Update, select "Yes".

Build Commands
- The build process remains the same for both:

build wsjt package
or
build wspr package

Install Location(s):
C:\JTSDK-PY\wsjt\wsjt-rxxxx
C:\JTSDK-PY\wspr\wspr-rxxxx

Installers are included in this directory for now.

UPGRADE DETAILS
----------------------------------------------------------

Build System Updates:
- Several situations were causing, or had the potential to cause build
errors. Hopefully these are nicked now.
- Updated the build process for the package target to clean the source
tree after compiling the installer. This "should" prevent a number of
errors or potential errors.

WSPR Enhancements:
- Added Fmtest and WSPR0 to the installer. To run Fmtest or gocal.bat,
you must first run WSPR to generate the proper WSPR.INI file. The apps
are available in the Windows Program Directory is you've installed WSPR:

Programs Files \WSJT\WSPR4\{WSPR4, Fmtest Tools, WSPR Command Line}

If running by browsing too the install folder, run or double-click on:

..\WSJT\WSPR4\fmt-env.bat

as Fmtest requires the path to libgfortran-3 and libquadmath DLL's. The
fmt-env.bat scripts set that up for you, relative to the install location.

WSJT Enhancement
- Most improvements were to do with the Makefile and build script
interaction.
- Added jt65code.exe and jt4code.exe to the installer in the {app}
directory. This may change in the futurre if Joe needs them elsewhere.

----------------------------------------------------------

That's all for now. As stated above, if you have issues with any aspect
of the upgrade or build(s), send them to the Dev-List.
