Hi all,
FYI: I'm off soon to join my son and some other family members to sail
in the "Whitebread Around the Whirl Race".
The event has been described as follows:
"Goofy name aside, the Whitebread race is a highlight of Long Island
Sound racing. 100+ boats race a lap around Shelter Island in Peconic
Bay. Lots of boats, narrow channel, strong currents, rocks,
ferries....what could go wrong?"
If nothing does, I should be back by Sunday afternoon. (Probably still
wet: it's supposed to rain all day tomorrow.)
