That is a known defect that has been repaired for later releases.

Unless you have a CAT interface that draws power from the RS-232 line 
RTS, your configuration is not correct, if you un-check "Force Control 
Lines" "RTS" and check "Handshake" "Hardware" you should be able to 
connect to your rig.
