Hello All,

I used Bills latest wsjtx-1.5.0-rc2.tgz posted in the files section to
update the my PPA on Launchpad ( WSJTX-DEV ). I'm using that name so
when v1.5.0 is fully released, I can push an update to the Debian
developers for the current version of WSJT-X (v1.1) in the Debian/Ubuntu
repositories without running into any conflicts. This also allows us to
test release candidates without having to go through a formal release /
update process with the Debian FTP Masters.

The build method is utilizing Bill's SuperBuild Script which includes
his Hamlib3 version.

Supported ARCH: i386, amd64
Supported Distros: Ubuntu 14.04, 14.10, 15.04, 15.10
Supported Distro Names: Trusty, Utpoic, Vivid, Wily

Note: 15.10 (Ubuntu Wily) is the next Ubuntu release, and is under heavy
development, be prepared for issues there.

BUILD and INSTALLATION COMMENTS:

Overall, things went as expected on build and install. There are a
couple of niggles that need to be addressed, but nothing major:

* Lintian Error: binary-without-manpage usr/bin/message_aggregator. We
just need to add the manpage for message_aggregator is all.

* I had to delete the WSJTX.ini file in ~/.config in order for the
frequency list to appear. With all the traffic being posted on this, Im
not sure what the status of this is at the moment.

* There's duplications on a couple files, GPL & Changelog stuff, but
that will be resolved at the package maintainer level.

INSTALL / UPGRADE INFO

If you need instructions for Installing the PPA, I can post them.
Updating the PPA would be through a normal Update && Upgrade.

I can, after you post the formal message for the release of 1.5.0 RC2,
post availability and installation instructions for the PPA. The PPA
also depends on kvasd-installer, so the user should get the package
installed automatically. However, I've not added the pre/post install
script to trigger installing the KVASD binary, that will be part of the
next RC update package or the formal release, whichever comes first.

The build servers are a bit behind, but the packages should be available
in an hour or so.
