Hello Joe. I did have the start spinner set to 0. I changed it to 100 hz and
that seemed to fix the problem. This had not been a problem until r5970. I
am using build r5977 now.

Subject: Re: [wsjt-devel] Fwd: Fortran runtime error

Thanks to those reporting the Fortran bounds error in sync65.f90. It's
fixed in code revision 5977.

The reason why some observed it and others (including me) did not is
simple: the error occurred only if you had the Wide Graph's "Start xxx
Hz" spinner set to 0. (It's worth noting that in general this is not a
good idea. Your passband response most likely rolls off steeply below
something 200 Hz or so, and if you include even lower frequencies in the
waterfall display the "Flatten" feature will be compromised.)

I will also repeat my usual warning to anyone using a development
version of our programs on the air -- whether you built it yourself or
it was built by some third party not part of the WSJT development team:

If you choose to run bleeding-edge code, we assume that you can handle
unexpected program errors on your own. You also have a responsibility
to make useful contributions to the development process (e.g., by
carefully documenting and reporting bugs).

Otherwise, you will likely waste your time and ours by trying to use a
program built from unreleased code.
