JTAlert macros can be set to not activate the TX5 radio button. For this to work reliably requires that you have JTAlert working in UDP mode. JTAlert will automatically switch to using the WSJT-X UDP interface if you have the WSJT-XUDP Server settings setcorrectlyand"Accept UDP Requests" enabled. You can check if JTAlert is working with the UDP interface via the "? -> About" menu.
