Hi Mark, the save directory is easily reached from the WSJT-X File menu, the action to open the log directory will open a file browser with the save directory within it. The options to save periods with decodes or save all periods have to be manually enabled, by default no .WAV files are saved. There is an option on the WSJT-X File menu to purge all saved .WAV (and WSPR .c2 files) in one simple action. There was a recent defect in the WSJT-X development branch which caused .WAV file saving to be erratic, this has been repaired. If you have "Menu->Save->None" checked then .WAV files are not saved. You will see a .WAV file created for each period but it will be deleted approximately 45 seconds into the next period. It is done like this for a couple of reasons, most importantly because you have the option to press CTRL+V to save the last periods .WAV, regardless of the menu settings. 73 Bill G4WJS. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ What NetFlow Analyzer can do for you?
