I just had this QSO with PA3CPS (See screen capture https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/60505123/WSJT-X%20v1.7.0-rc1.JPG). I called CQ, PA3CPS responded and his response was shown in "Rx Frequency". I replied. His next 3 responses, including a "73" did show up under "Band Activity" but not under "Rx Frequency".
