Well said Joe, When I read Nico's original paper "QRA codes for EME", I was fascinated by his idea of this new mode, especially the way it handles a priori information to improve the decoding threshold. I think we should all thank Nico and that this is the start of a new world of possibilities for EME and other weak signal work, including allowing even smaller stations than what was possible with JT65.
