Hi Mike,
it is not "tagged", the version is set to 1.7.1-devel which is correct
until a serious enough defect is found in the 1.7.0 GA release that
warrants a 1.7.1-rc1. At that time it will be decided if a v1.7 branch
needs creating. In the meantime the main line is reverted to development
status and those who build from it must treat it as pre-alpha quality
and quite possibly not fit for use on air.
