Hi,

Would you change the section of FrequencyList.cpp on 80m to be operable for JA stations as follow?

{3570000, Modes::JT65},
{3572000, Modes::JT9},
{3573000, Modes::FT8},
{3572600, Modes::WSPR},

Current frequencies are used for Government Use and are not allocated for Radio Amateur Service in Japan for more than a half century and it will be pessimistic to be operative in near future. Instead, the proposed frequency allocation meets Japanese regulation, meet IARU R1 &2 frequency charts and allow JA stations to be operable, i.e. 6kHz down except WSPR.

I know it it absolutely inconvenient for the rest of the world WSJT-X users who have been accustomed to the current frequency allocation for a couple of years.

However, it is a fact for JA stations to be kept out on 80m access (for ever) without asking to this change.

I hope everyone in this group are generous enough to accept this change request but welcome any concerns or conditions to accept.

Regards,

take
