You shouldn't be running it from the build directory. It doesn't have all the
needed dlls.
Run it from install/bin instead.

bugs and hadn't built any new 1.7.1 releases until today. I built r8098 and it
auto started and ran OK. I went into the 8098/release/build folder and made a
shortcut for wsjtx.exe but when I ran it I received an error message. Running
the wsjtx.exe directly gives the same error. The message says that the app
failed to start because it could not find or load the QT platform plugin
"windows". I tried rebuilding with the same results.
I also tried running wsjtx-exe from a number of older (8060 & 8071) builds
which previously were working but get the same error.
Can you shed some light as to what might be happening? Thanks.
