Bill, I have the exact same problem. If I skip the svn update, r8123 will compile just fine. It's only svn that seems to not work. I tried just 'svn cleanup' which (no surprise) did nothing, but then I don't know what arguments to give it. I'm sure there is a path as part of the cleanup arguments.
