Another question: when this odd switch of Tx mode occurs, does the transmitted audio signal actually change to JT9 mode? Or is it only the Tx bandwidth indicator on the waterfall, to which your screen shot draws attention?

I have had several experiences lately where, while calling CQ, or in QSO
using JT65 (A, B, and C), transmit will randomly change to a JT9 mode.
I am not operating in JT9+JT65 mode, only the straight JT65 mode. While
watching it run over a period of time, it seems to change at "decode"
time, ie: the 52 second mark. I can find no trigger for this other than
the decode. It happens in either sequence, and with starting modes of
JT65 A, B, and C.

Additionally, when this happens:
1. Receive is still JT65, as it continues to decode JT65 signals, but
not JT9 signals.
2. It can receive for extended periods without it making the change, but
it changes to JT9 TX within a few sequences when TX is/has been enabled.
3. Changing "submode" changes the width of the transmitted JT9 signal,
and also the mode of JT65 that is decoded.
4. No effect from changing Sh, F-Tol, TX freq, or Rx Freq.
5. Going to Menu>Mode, and selecting JT65 changes it back, even though
JT65 is already selected.

I reloaded 1.8.0 rc-1, but had the same results.

I can monitor for long periods without this happening, but it occurs
quite frequently when I have Tx Enabled.

Now reverted to v 1.0.7 r7405, and have not had any more problems.
