May I, however, raise a concern with RC3 which has changed the way the split operation and selecting a frequency is achieved.

It is now required to use CTRL and a mouse click to set a frequency. This requires 2 hands. Unfortunately there are many who are only able to use hand at the same time due to disability. Stroke, loss of limb and in my case the need to use a Monocular to see the screen. Therefore usability is greatly reduced in this version in comparison to the previous version.

Hi Dave,

are you aware that double-clicking a decoded CQ or QRZ message, with "Hold Tx Freq" cleared, will set both your Rx and Tx frequency to that of the caller, i.e. simplex operation.

Both Tx and Rx frequencies can be set using the spin box controls on the main window using only mouse clicks. Alternatively you can click on the waterfall and then click the "Tx <- Rx" button to move the Tx frequency to the selected Rx frequency.

All of the above can be completed with one hand on the mouse, even with one finger if you have a track-ball or similar.
