Yes, if you're going to select a frequency on which to call CQ you must
use SHIFT+click of CTRL+click on the waterfall, or use the main screen
TxFreq control.
These things have been discussed, at length, on this reflector. The
procedure adopted for RC3 was by far the most popular.
No doubt there are "Accessibility" issues in WSJT-X that can use
attention. Dave has drawn attention to one of them. I hope we will
find time to address some of these issues before long.
