Thank you for providing several information and consideration on 160m.

As you stated below, 3Y0Z team should simply select 1.840MHz for their FT8 
operation informing us to do so in advance. I do not know the reason why they 
pick up 1.835MHz. which is against IARU R1 & 2 bandplans without guessing  it 
is  “disconnect”.

I hope member of this group near them will contact them and talk to make 
appropriate suggestion based on our experience. Bouvet is too far to talk from 
Tokyo and only FT8 can do (a joke).

On 160M, for example,the JT65 band segment is a 2.5 kHz channel

corresponding to a USB transmitter with an indicated carrier frequency

of 1838 kHz, FT8 with a carrier at 1840.

Apparently, It looks like there is a disconnect between us and 3Y0Z team based 
on the fact that I have not received any response from you.

After reviewing their band plan including CW, SSB, RTTY along with IARU R2, I 
confirmed FT8 is the only mode against IARU R2 bandplan. That means CW, SSB and 
RTTY are perfect from IARU R2 band plan harmonization viewpoint.

I have already posted the similar message to "3Y0Z -Bouvet Island DXpedition" 
Facebook and I am waiting their response.

If you have any communication with them, I am appreciated if you will help to 
warn them.

I searched with “Bouvet” on this mailing lists and found the following thread. 
I am not sure they are appropriate reference or not  but I attached for your 
review. Unfortunately,  I am against Rich’s recommendation to use 
14.112-14.125MHz by the reason that FT8 is a NBD and it can not be ALL Modes by 
the definition of IARU (?).

Does anybody know the process to create FT8 band plan of this DX-pedition?
