Some folks have noted a background noise increase as an indicator of 160m
band opening.
Like many, I suspect, I leave WSJT monitoring 160m overnight and come in at
sunrise to see what happened overnight and maybe catch a greyline opening.
It would be interesting to see a plot of noise, sampled during the
non-transmit periods of each cycle, for the last 12 hours.
Is this possible? Any interest?
