I thing what he may be referring to is that the tab window stays on tab 3.  

I suppose it would be nice to remember what tab you were on and go back to 
that...

Thanks for your report.  You do not mention what OS you are running 
under.  I tried here in both Windows and Linux, and it behaves 
correctly.  Following your recipe, I cannot reproduce the undesired 
effect that you describe.
