The docs on TRXManager do show its protocol.I think I'll give it a whack in
hamlib. I'm working on improving the flrig backend right now. We (Dave W1HKJ
and I) are getting flrig and WSJT-X split mode working very happily on all rigs
and close to fruition on that (lots of changes in flrig). TRXManager would be
very similar to what I'm doing now.

Jan,
the IC-7851 is supported by current versions of WSJT-X, what version are
you using?
Please provide documentation for the rig control programming API that
WSJT-X can use to control a rig via TRX-Manager. Without that there is
nothing we can do since the TRX-Manager application is closed source.
