I use an array of
wsjtx_log.adi files to manage my QSOs by band and mode. Each has a descriptive name appended to the front of "wsjtx_log.adi". This keeps the wsjtx_log.adi file much smaller than a monolithic file while preserving all of the past contact information. When I operate using a particular mode and band, I delete the descriptive portion of the name to revert it back to just wsjtx_log.adi, then cycle through Settings (using F2) to stimulate WSJT-X to re-read the file. Would it be possible to provide a simple button on the GUI (or even better yet a keyboard shortcut) to initiate the re-read instead of going through the Settings menu each time? Or the ability to select the adi log file by name? The later would be the cadillac version, but just having a button instead of going through the Settings menu would be an order of magnitude improvement. .
Thanks for a great program!
