I believe your question deserves its own thread. IIRC with multiple
channels the amplitudes do not add directly but in quadrature since they
are not phase coherent. Others on this list are bettervequipped to answer.
Michael et al -- please note that I was referring to when K1JT was sending
on one frequency only. In that case there xhould be no reduction I would
think.
