they were in Hound mode.
The other way to do this would be for WSJT-X to do a popup when you
change bands and are in Hound mode. That's an easier solution and is

Excellent suggestion.
Adding if WSJT-X is set to NA Contest mode would also be a worthwhile
addition to the Status reporting message IMO.
