I noticed this same type reply from several stations operating last night
regular mode FT8. They would send report, I would respond with R +report then

I noticed WSJT-X had a delay when receiving answer from DX. I received a
multible callsign answer from DX. WSJT-X continued sending call. When
receiving a specific answer from DX, WSJT-X changed to sending report.
