Hi Neil!

As I have noticed here before,  I can not explain things in English so that native speakers could understand it.

I can send CQ DX by just putting "DX" between CQ and MYCALL in TX6 text. I know that. I use that.

But when you are calling several times CQ DX and all the time stations from EU are trying to answer I like to send an informative message using TX5 free text "EU-EU ISNO DX" that is what fits to the space. (qso between eu-stn and eu-stn is not a dx qso) I would like to send "Please do not answer to my CQ DX as you are not dx stations for me as we are both living in same continent". But that does not fit to free text message.

Sorry that I can not express myself properly using English.

FWIW ... you don't need to use 'FREE TEXT' to send CQ DX .. just insert the ' DX ' between the CQ and your CALLSIGN (with a single space between) in the TX6 message and it will work fine.

There is definitely a problem with “free text” message sequencing in rc3. I posted about not being able to answer a return to my free text CQ DX by double clicking the caller, but have had a few other odd things happen too.
