John G4KLA,

Great tip but it did not work for me.  I tried it two times and while the 
window positions may have been saved other settings got hosed as I no longer 
could see any decoded signals. Good thing I zipped my WSJT-X.ini file (that 
worked) before messing  with the General settings. It is easy to recover by 
trashing the .ini file and clicking on the zipped version.

I will be QRT for a week and will try again later. The problem with trashing 
the WSJT-X.ini file is everything goes with it and getting Humpty-Dumpty back 
together again is hard.
