Hi Scott,
there is a facility in WSJT-X to send RR73 as a final QSO message rather
than RRR, it is intended to be used when you are almost certain that it
will be received, first time, by your QSO partner. It indicates to
anyone waiting to call you that you have logged the QSO, are not
expecting a 73 message, and they can safely tail-end the QSO. This can
save considerable time if you are a popular station that often has many
callers.
To toggle this facility on and off double-click either the Tx4 "Next"
radio button or the Tx4 "Now" button. Hover the mouse over them for details.
