think leaving either or both groups is a rational response to my
request, but it is your choice.
Look at it from the point of view of someone who might answer your
question, e.g. me in this case. Do I answer on both lists, so those that
only read one list see that the answer has been given already, or do I
answer on one and leave the other unanswered? Well I don't like to
cross-post and risk being banned from a group, so I have little choice.
Once in a while is ok but when many users start cross-posting in the
hope of getting a quicker answer when the responder probably monitors
both lists anyway, it does become annoying.
