that is the correct setting to a real FT-817/857/897(D) as they do not
accept CAT QSY commands while transmitting. I asked about PTT because if
your PTT is indirect (i.e. not CAT) there is a potential race condition
related to this. OTOH if the emulator does allow QSY while transmitting
then it is all moot.
