Hello All RFI was a problem for one of my computers, only one USB cable seems to work without problems, it is 24 inch long with two suppressors clamped to it. Randomly occurs, mostly locking the transceiver to transmit with no output since it isn't getting sound from the computer.
My two other Windows 10 computers do not have any RFI problems regardless of which USB cable I use. Transceiver IC-7300. I am surprised how many people are still using Windows 7 when they had the opportunity to upgrade to Windows 10. Even after Microsoft said they wouldn't upgrade any more, they still did, as I updated and old laptop way after the deadline. You might give it a try even at this late date. So far for me, no problems with version 2.0.0 Worked several stations with both of us at -24. I have 3 computers running Windows 10 and one Raspberry pi, running v 2.0.0, so far no problems with FT8. I haven't tried it on my old laptop which also runs Windows 10. Not worth the trouble. The Raspberry pi doesn't remember the display position exactly probably due to my monitor resolution 2560 X 1440.
