Folks,
I have tried tonight to switch to Fox and Hound mode a couple of times after getting multiple callers (>10 at a time) to special event station call VI17AC (17th Asian Cup Soccer) which I am helping activate for the event. It seems that whenever I try to reply to someone I cease to be able to see them in the stations calling window, but are moved to the Tab 3 list (which I understand is the queue window - and is expected) then as soon as I call them the first time they disappear from the queue, I see me call them in the RX Frequency window but they don't QSY and I cant see them any more. I have never had a real opportunity to use Fox and Hound mode before so haven't been able to familiarise myself with it very well but this behaviour with a non standard callsign doesn't appear to follow the manual. Needless to say I ahve to fairly quickly give up because I am not completing any QSOs. Is this just people not switching to Fox and Hound mode on the other end or is something else going on?
