A little comment ???

Hi Sandro,

"Most sensitive" is as previous versions. "Low sidelobes" is new and the default. Low sidelobes applies a window function to the sample data before the FFT that generates the waterfall image lines. The window function removes some artefacts of the discrete FFT algorithm, and results in a truer representation of the input sample stream, at the expense of a small loss in sensitivity. It was deemed necessary now we are using GFSK modulation so that the cleaner received signals can be well represented on the waterfall.

One good way to see the difference is to tune to an unmodulated carrier and switch between the two options. You should see that the filtered version is more representative. Also playing back a saved .WAV file using the two options will demonstrate the differences. The setting has no impact on decoding, it only affects the waterfall and 2D spectrum displays.
