Hi Bill,

Thank you for the clarification.  I used Macports to install gcc/gfortran.  I 
had trouble getting gcc5 to build on Catalina so I used a later version (gcc9), 
which I'm sure resulted in a newer version of gfortran.  Now that I know the 
issue, I'll install an earlier version of gfortran.
